We are pleased to announce the launch of a new online edition of the journal: JAMA-français, the weekly French-language online edition of JAMA. Each week, a selection of articles from JAMA are translated into French by the journal's expert medical translators and published simultaneously with the English-language edition. This is no small accomplishment. In fact, of the leading international weekly medical journals, JAMA is the only one with an online edition published simultaneously in a second language.
Even though English may be the primary language of research, many physicians and other health care professionals are more comfortable reading in their native languages.
