The second edition of Vasculitis is a formidable reference work, a major contribution that challenges the specialist. Lavishly illustrated, including 125 color plates and innumerable graphs and tables, this is every immunologist's and rheumatologist's wish fulfillment. Half the chapters are written by physicians or researchers outside the United States, each well known and seminal in the field. As up to date as journals, this book provides a ready reference for all who deal with the array of disorders; it includes even the mimickers of vasculitis. It would be difficult to imagine a more comprehensive book.
The phenomenon of vasculitis in some form may underlie many of the major syndromes and diseases that puzzle the practitioner. Why are blood vessels at risk?
