Industry Support and Professional Medical Associations

Since this article does not have an abstract, we have provided the first 54 words of the full text and any section headings.

To the Editor: In the otherwise excellent article by Dr Rothman and colleagues,1 one practice was not mentioned: the sale of physician information to information management companies that in turn sell the data to pharmaceutical companies for marketing purposes. I would be interested in the authors' opinion of this practice.

Financial Disclosures: None reported.
